Format flash drive windows 10. 'Raabta' (English: Relation) is a romantic Hindi song from the 2012 Bollywood film, Agent Vinod. Composed by Pritam Chakraborty, the song is sung by Arijit Singh, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.[1] The music video of the track features actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan,[2] and the remix video of the song stars Deepika Padukone, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh from the film Raabta .[3]
The song has three other version included in the soundtrack of the album titled, 'Raabta (Night in a Motel)', 'Raabta (Siyaah Raatein)' and 'Raabta (Kehte Hain Khuda Ne)' which features vocals by Aditi Singh Sharma, Hamsika Iyer and Shreya Ghoshal respectively, and also has another version titled, 'Raabta Title Song' from the film Raabta which features vocals by Nikhita Gandhi, with additional vocals by Singh for all four versions.[4]
The first four versions of the song were released on 10 February 2012 along with other tracks in the album. The music video of the song was officially released on 9 March 2012, through the YouTube channel of T-Series. The version of the song used in this music video is the original version by Arijit Singh. However, the version 'Night in Motel' sung by Aditi Singh Sharma along with Singh, is used in the film.
The first four versions of the song collectively, were ranked at position seven in the list of 'Best Songs of 2012' published by Bollywood Spice on 8 January 2013. Arijit Singh was included in the list of 'Best Male Singer 2012' published by Koimoi on 2 January 2013.[5] The song was placed at third position in the list of 'The most popular love song on Gaana.com' which was published by The Times of India on 14 February, 2013.[6]
The remix version of the song was released on April 27, 2017 alongside much fanfare with the new trend of remixing old songs taking over movies. The song has more than 35 million views on YouTube within a month's time. It also was praised for its beat and the video too.
The composition of the song by Pritam, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Irshad Kamil and renditions by the singers in their respective versions were well received by the reviewers.
Bollywood Hungama's Joginder Tuteja praised all four versions of the song and commented: 'Special mention for lyricist Bhattacharya who indeed ends up getting something new to cheer about and demonstrates once again that he has a good knack of playing around with words'.[4]
The song marks the first time Aditi Singh Sharma has lent her voice for Kareena Kapoor Khan, the next being 'Main Heroine Hoon' from Heroine (2012).[7] Sharma was nominated in Stardust 'New Musical Sensation Singer – Female' award for her rendition in the version of the song, along with 'Main Heroine Hoon'.[8]
This version of the song was used in the film from the four versions and was incorrectly credited to Hamsika Iyer instead of Sharma, on the CD cover. Compare to the composition of the original song, this version uses a more 'prevalent and solemn piano' with a 'haunting viola' in the midway of the song.
The version along with 'Kehte Hain Khuda Ne' by Shreya Ghoshal was picked as best tracks in the album by Filmfare's Rachit Gupta.[9]
The third version of the song titled 'Raabta (Siyaah Raatein)' is sung by Hamsika Iyer. In comparison, by the composition of the song, to that of the version 'Night in Motel', an electric guitar is added to the tune and the drum beat is soften, apart from the use of piano. Additional English vocals were rendered by Joi, in the version of the song.
The final version of the song titled 'Raabta (Kehte Hain Khuda Ne)' (English: It is said that God) is sung by Shreya Ghoshal. The version has the same template in composition, to that of version rendered by Hamsika Iyer. The lyrics included in the version by Amitabh Bhattacharya, is the same as the original version.
Filmfare's Rachit Gupta picked the version by Ghoshal and the version 'Night in Motel' by Aditi Singh Sharma for the best track in the album.[9]
The remix video is just called Raabta Title Song since it has the same name as the movie does. It has very little difference lyrics wise with only few wordings different from the original song. It starred Deepika Padukone in a cameo role and Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh. The video is produced by T-Series.
Shirley Setia and Jubin Nautiyal sang the Mixtape version of raabta-tu jo mila.[10]
The music-composer Pritam performed the song live in IIFA Rocks 2013 along with Arijit Singh and Aditi Singh Sharma, which also celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema.[11] Singh performed the song on 30 December 2013, on the concert 'Salaam Dubai' which was organised by Oberoi Middle East.[12] He also performed the song at a private concert for the Connoisseurs Club Dubai on 7 November 2014.[13] On 19 October 2014, singer Shreya Ghoshal performed the song at her concert which was held at Rajkot.
Aditi Singh Sharma also performed the love ballad, at the Atif Aslam concert which was presented by ARN Entertainment and R.V Steels and Power on 22 May 2014.[14] She even performed the song at 'Tum Hi Ho' live concert at the San Jose State University Event Center on 9 August 2014.[15] Both Singh and Sharma performed their version of the song at Singh's London debut concert at the Indigo Arena on 29 August 2014.

Raabta (transl. Connection) is an Indian Hindi-language romanticadventure film directed by Dinesh Vijan. It was co-produced by Vijan, Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar under Maddock Films. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh. It was released worldwide on 9 June 2017.
Shiv Kakkar(Sushant Singh Rajput) is a young man from Amritsar who gets a lucrative opportunity to work in Budapest for a job as a banker, and leaves with his friend, Radha(Varun Sharma). Shiv is shown to have been a fun-loving womanizer back home and continues this behaviour in Budapest. Saira Singh(Kriti Sanon), a young woman, is haunted by mysterious nightmares of drowning to death. She lives by herself in Budapest and works as a chocolatier. Shiv happens to stumble upon Saira's shop while on a date with a woman, but finds himself deeply attracted to Saira. Though she initially rejects his advances, she eventually succumbs and sleeps with Shiv, revealing the next day that she actually has a boyfriend and what happened with Shiv was a mistake. Unwilling to let go of their connection, Shiv interrupts Saira's date with her boyfriend Manav(Vikas Verma) and shows her that she would rather be with him than with her boyfriend. Manav breaks up with her, and Shiv and Saira start spending time together, growing close. One night, they go to a club with Radha, where they happen to meet an eccentric psychic who knows about Saira's nightmares and tells her that the events of her previous life will repeat themselves, and only she can fix them. Saira tearfully reveals to Shiv that she has a fear of water because her parents drowned after a car accident when she was two years old.
While trying to test their love a final time, Shiv and Saira make a pact. Shiv flirts with multiple women, but Saira finds herself strongly drawn to a young businessman Zakir 'Zack' Merchant(Jim Sarbh). Shiv reveals he has to leave for a business trip for a week and he and Saira decide to see how they feel after a week's separation. If they still feel strongly about each other, they will start considering marriage. During Shiv's absence, Saira gets to know Zakir better and confides in him about her nightmares. During one of their dinners, Zakir drugs Saira and kidnaps her.
Saira wakes up and finds herself trapped in Zakir's isolated mansion on an island off the coast. She demands that he let her go, but he refuses, saying that he spent his whole life looking for her. He explains that he was madly in love with her in a previous life but his love remained unrequited. He refuses to let go of her again. When she does not believe him, he shows her a collection of uncannily accurate paintings he made of her at various ages and says she will find the explanation for her nightmares. Thinking he is crazy, she attempts to escape but ends up falling into the ocean, which triggers the memories of her previous life.
Three hundred years ago, Saira was warrior princess Saiba. She had a childhood best friend Qaabir(Jim Sarbh), a fellow warrior from her tribe who was in love with her. Their kingdom was threatened by the Muraakis, led by a wise, old Rajput ruler Mohak(Rajkummar Rao). Qaabir is severely wounded by the fierce warrior Jilaan(Sushant Singh Rajput), who gives Qaabir an ultimatum to surrender. Saiba challenges Jilaan, and they find themselves attracted to each other. Saiba accepts defeat, surrendering the kingdom to the Muraakis and herself to Jilaan. Qaabir attempts to take Saiba back, but she reveals that she and Jilaan are in love. On their wedding night, a comet falls and Mohak realizes that this will be a fateful night. Qaabir ambushes Jilaan and Saiba, and murders Jilaan by wounding him and throws him in the ocean. Saiba jumps into the ocean to save him, but to no avail. Heartbroken on seeing Jilaan die, Saiba who is heartbroken decides to drown too. On seeing Saiba dead, Qaabir slits his own throat, killing himself. Muwwaqqil forebodes that these events will repeat.

However, this time, when Shiv shows up, Saira decides to fight back against Zakir. When their previous lives' events repeat, Zakir throwing Shiv into the ocean, Shiv drags Zakir down with him and Zakir dies. Saira jumps into the water and is able to save Shiv.
The film ends with Shiv humorously telling their children to not believe Saira if she tells them any far-fetched stories about reincarnation, implying that he is still oblivious to the events of their previous lives.
The film production began in 2015 and it was set to release in 2016. But the film was delayed for a year due to casting issues. In March 2016, a new release date of 9 June 2017 was announced.[3] The film has been majorly shot in Budapest, Hungary and India. Title song Raabta was shot at Tata Castle in Tata, Hungary. The song Sadda Move was shot at Partition Museum, Amritsar.[4] Budget of the film is ₹59.07 Crores (₹590.7 Million).[5] The total number of screen count in India was 1820 and 330 overseas.[6]
Alia Bhatt was initially considered to play the lead role opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, but turned down the role over scheduling conflicts.[7] In December 2015, Asin was approached to play the lead role opposite Rajput but she turned down the offer because of her decision to not act post marriage. Kriti Sanon was signed on to play the lead female role in the film in February 2016.[8]
Raabta makers received a legal notice over plagiarism from MagadheeraproducerAllu Aravind. Raabta producers offered to show Arvind the film. They also offered to deposit an escrow amount with the court, but Arvind reportedly rejected both.[9] A source says it was likely Arvind wanted Magadheera to be remade in Hindi, and was concerned no one would be interested after Raabta.[citation needed] On 8 June 2017, the courts ruled in favor of Raabta makers.[citation needed]
Bollywood Hungama rated it 3.5/5.[10]The Times of India rated it 3.5/5, writing 'If sparks flew more organically, it would have been easier to make a connection with this epic tale of love.'[11]Koimoi rated it 2/5, writing 'Raabta is a confused film that never establishes a firm balance between its crossover love stories.' Shubhra Gupta from The Indian Express rated it 1.5/5, writing 'Some questions arise after Raabta has been seen, chief amongst which is one that comes up every time Bollywood tries, and fails, to do a cracking romance. Why is Bollywood incapable of pulling off a full-length film with a pair of lovers connecting, pulling apart, coming together?'[12]India Today rated it 1/5, calling it 'A comet-crossed romance which never hits the target.'[13]
Critic Rajeev Masand gave the movie one out of five, stating, 'This is a movie so singularly pointless, you have to wonder how the writers and the director tricked the financiers into thinking there was a story here worth telling, and why the actors preferred going to shoot every morning instead of sleeping longer hours. This is the kind of film that film critics must endure so you don’t have to. Even Denzel Washington couldn't save this film. I’m going with one out of five.'[14]
